PLANNING FORUM

All students are the members of the college planning forum, which undertake multifarious curricular and co-curricular activities. The committee consists of

COLLEGE UNION

The College, affiliated to the University of Calicut shall have a College Union. The objectives of the College Students’ Union are

• to train the students in the duties and rights of citizenship
• to provide opportunities for the development of leadership qualities
• to help the students acquire the norms of democracy and related organizational skills.
• to represent the college in the University Students’ Council
• to successfully organize various co-curricular activities of the college, Students elect their union representatives for the following posts:

    1) Chairman               2) Vice Chairman                   3) General Secretary

   4) Joint Secretary        5) Secretary, Fine Arts  6) General Captain for Sports 

          7) Student Editor for the College Magazine   8) University Union Councilor

          9) Class Representatives

ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

As per the instructions from University of Calicut and Govt of Kerala, UGC  the College has an Anti-Ragging Committee constituting of Parents, teachers and students. The committee monitors the meanance of ragging in this institution.

EVALUATION MONITORING COMMITTEE

To enhance the quality of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation.(CCE) an Evaluation Monitoring Committee (EMC) is functioning in the college. The committee consists of following members:

2. A senior staff
3. Staff advisor
4. A staff member

ETHICS COMMITTEE

An Ehics Committee has been constituted as per the government order to monitor implementation of the decision banning the mobile phones, cinematic dance and fashion show on the campus with the co operation of the college PTA, Staff Members, Students Union, Management Committee and local body authorities. The Committee consists of the following members.

GRIEAVANCE REDRESS FORUM

Grievance Redress Forum is an appellate body to hear and decide on the matters related to academic, discipline, curricular andCco-curricular activities. The grievance Redress Forum will consist of the following members:

1. Principal (Chairman)
2. Staff Advisor
3. A Senior Lady teacher
4. A Member from the College Council nominated by the Principal
5. College Union Chairman (Student Representative)

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING CELL

The college provides a guidance and counseling cell to give direction for the needy students, personas and family members.

CAREER GUIDANCE& PLACEMENT CELL

A career guidance centre is functioning in the college. The centre offers career and course guidance service for the students, parents. The placement cell of the college renders commendable service as a feeder centre by providing teachers at various level for the needy institutions. Campus recruitment facility is arranged in the college for recruiting teachers to various schools and colleges.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Alumni Association of the college has started and functioning from 2003 onwards. All old students who have taken membership of association are members of the Alumni Association.

 The aim and objectives of the association are

To bring harmony among the students, to be in close touch with development of the institution and work the same., to raise the funds for conducting various educational, socio-cultural relevant programmes  for the welfare and prosperity of the teacher community in ever changing society.
