Markaz Training College Athavanad is one of the premier teacher training college among the un-aided/self financing Sector in Kerala. It is affiliated to University of Calicut and recognised by NCTE. Established in 1995 under the esteemed management of Markazutharbiyathil Islamiyya Athavanad, a charitable trust established in 1984.

Now the college is well equipped with all the modern facilities well facilitated by the management committee. We strive to develop trainees with knowledge skill and character leading to societal transformation and national development College offers top-quality education and training to prospective teachers, with well established resources in terms of infrastructure, proficient faculty and vibrant curricular programmes. In this way, we hope the training which lead to character formation, strength of mind and expansion of intellect by which one can stand on one’s own feet.
